Our mission is a very simple one - to provide a genuine, worthwhile, low cost service that will assist genuine people of any nationality & any bias to find a suitable partner to suit their individual lifestyle.

We will assist anyone seeking company without prejudice to their race, creed or sexual preferences.

Background:

My name is Lenko Baresic and I am the owner of this site. My life partners name is Jo Goldstein & my business partner & close friends name is Michelle Pavser.

We at Couples Company have started our Family Business from humble beginnings launching our Personal Consulting Service from a Home Office environment some 4 years ago.

Our business was bourne from the desire to assist anyone who was single & need of Company and assist them to find a suitable long term partner. I myself was in the same position some 7 years prior. My Lady Jo & I have been happily together now for since 1991.

At that time there was only one introduction agency in our home town & it had unfortunately developed a bad reputation as an expensive flop. Some of our close friends that had used this service convinced us to open our own to assist them & others at a lower price & better service.

They believed we were well suited to this worthwhile persuit because of our empathy & understanding of their situations. They were right!

So we worked for the next 4 years as a non-profit business, simply because a lot of our Clients had been fleeced by unscrupulous agencies elsewhere and we would assist them for free if they could not afford our regular fees.

We have helped hundreds and potentially thousands of lovely people find partners during this time.

It was always our intention to develop our website. Unfortunately 3 different developers attempted this task but failed - mainly because they were trying to do it for free to assist us in our endeavour and did not have the technical skills to succeed.

I then took it upon myself to complete a tertiary course in Website production over 18 months and with the assistance of trusted colleages, Mr Peter Kooper, Mr Eddie Ivancic & Ms Lianna zhang, have hopefully finally succeeded.

Thousands of unpaid hours later here we are with the launch of our website!

Privacy Policy:

Contact information:

This must include an email address where we can contact you. It may also include your name & mobile phone number. This information is collected as part of the member registration process. You can update this at any time.

Your Profile information:

Like your age, gender, interests, marital status, sexual preferences, location etc. This information is collected as part of the member registration process. Some of this information is optional to state and defaults to not-important in the drop down lists. Just change if you wish to record these preferences.

Credit card information:

For your security we DO NOT store any credit card details on this site. You will be transferred to a secure site acredited by our Bank for any financial transactions.

Communications:

Email or other means, which pass through our system between yourself and other members or our employees.

Other personal information:

Volunteered by you. This could be in response to surveys, contests or online activities.

Non-personally identifiable information:

Like your IP address, browser type, pages visited etc. is all normal information that is passed over the internet.

How we use any collected information:

Contact information is used to communicate with you. This includes forwarding messages from other members, providing information about our products and services, responding to any questions or requests you may make, confirming receipt of communications from you, or if we need to contact you for any reason.

Profile information is posted on our websites (there will be other associated sites developed in the future that will also display your profile) and will be used to promote you. As such, they may be viewed by individuals anywhere in the world.

Communications with other members are passed on to those members automatically. They are not stored on our system, but in the regular email system you are using.

Testimonials may be posted on our website and included in emails to members to help promote our services.

Complaints will be investigated and recorded as appropriate. Any complaints will be recorded and details stored in case of future complaints against any member.

Non-personally identifiable information is used to help us monitor & improve our service and infrastructure. Storage and security of personal information is held by our Website hosting service.

Normal website & server security methods are used to protect this data.

You can update your contact and profile information at any time by logging onto our website and following the update update profile links from the members login.

Many of your login details are deleted from our systems on a regular basis.

Any Other personal information provided voluntarily by you in response to surveys, competitions etc is deleted soon after the event.

Testimonials, complaints and other feedback are stored indefinitely.

Term of your membership Membership:

Your membership will be ongoing unless we are advised otherwise by you in writing.

If you cancel your membership:

We will hold your membership off-line and off display to other members until you either advise us by email or other written means that you wish to terminate your membership entirely. This is done so as to enable you to rejoin easily by logging on and placing your profile back on line if the need arises.

If you advise us in writing to delete your record entirely, we will then do so & all identifying information (name, email, address, phone number, photo) will be deleted by us.

Retrieval of personal information:

You can access all the contact and profile information we hold about you at any time, simply by logging on to the couplescompany.com.au site. If you have forgotten your login details, click the Forgot Password link on the home page & your password sent to you.

Complaints about other members:

When a complaint about a member is received, no action will be taken unless the complaint is substantiated by evidence. However, a record of the complaint may be made and included in the data held about that member.

Communications between two members will be kept strictly between those members.

Couplescompany.com.au employees and contractors may also be members of the site, and their employment may give them access to information not generally available to other members.

Employees and contractors:

They will not use personal contact information or other personal information held by us for any purpose other than for the performance of their jobs.

If they wish to contact another member, they will do so by email and have the same rights & privilleges as any other member.
